What are you seeing?
The Intel TXE requires that Microsoft's Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) version 1.11 update for Windows 7 is installed first. If the KMDF is not installed, you can see either error 37 or error 28 on the Intel TXE device in Device Manager. The Intel® TXEI driver is required for Secure Boot and platform security features. KMDF must be installed before the Intel TXEI driver.
To resolve this issue:
- Install the Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) version 1.11 update for Windows 7*.
- Install Intel TXEI driver from the Download Center.
